Research Interests
Enrico Spacone has published over 80 papers in international journals, books and conferences. He is an Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Structural Engineering and has carried out research work in collaboration with several international and national research groups.His main research interests are:
- Structural analysis, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering;
- Bond-slip problems in reinforced concrete and steel-concrete mixed structures;
- Testing, design and analysis of RC/PC structures strengthened with Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP);
- Computational methods in nonlinear frame analysis;
- Application of nonlinear analysis in seismic design codes;
- Mechanics, design and modeling of sustainable structural materials.
